Description

My rat Max and my pitbull/boxer mix are best friends. Max alos has a brother named Mitch, who does like her too but not as much as Max.

I have a good collection of friendship pictures of these two. Its so darn cute!

Kudos for Misty, Who is labeled as a bad breed! She is so gentle with Max and rat, a species labeled as a pest! No to both... <_<

i can see the rottweiler MAYBE, though highly doubted, but DEFINITELY absolutely no bully breeds of any kind in this dog. it displays absolutely no characteristics whatsoever of any bully breed at all. this is a shepherd type mix. rottweiler is even highly, highly doubted.

Mislabeling dogs that aren't Pitbulls or Pitbull mixes is EXTREMELY bad for the breed, because, for example, shelters often label mixes as Pitbulls (even when they aren't) so people think they have a Pitbull and tell people it's a Pitbull or mix of one, so people might think their dog is one or their neighbor's or friends or whoevers. Lets say this non-Pitbull that is labeled as a Pitbull (or Pit mix) attacks someone. That's ANOTHER bad mark for REAL Pitbulls when they actually aren't even the main source of dog attacks, despite reports (which are false due to people claiming the dog was a Pitbull when it wasn't).

Your dog has absolutely no Pitbull characteristics whatsoever. In fact, absolutely no bully breeds at all. From this picture this looks like a purebred lab. Just because it might have some (what some would call) "imperfections" of the breed's ideal characteristics, that doesn't mean it's a mix. For example, maybe the muzzle is SLIGHTLY shorter or more round but everything else looks 100% lab. That could be due to inbreeding or breeding dogs with low characteristics. That's not a bad thing towards your dog, just a fact.

This dog does NOT have the head shape of any bully breed, doesn't have the muzzle shape or length, the body shape, the fur color or pattern mixture, or the type of tail of any bully breed. Plain and simple, I highly, highly, highly doubt there is any Pitbull or any bully breed in this dog whatsoever.

Not saying your dog would attack anyone but again, you might say this is a Pitbull mix and so someone has a dog that looks like this and they think "oh my dog (or that dog) must be part Pitbull too!" and that person tells someone that who tells someone who has a dog like that who tells someone who knows someone with a dog like that and that dog attacks someone. It doesn't seem like a big deal but when Pitbulls are being murdered just for being in a specific town, state or country, it's a HUGE deal for them.

I really would stop telling people you have a Pitbull (and Rottweiler) mix because there is absolutely nothing at all to suggest that in the dog in this image.

I like that you're trying to show Pitbulls aren't aggressive dogs but that message doesn't fit this situation. What you should be saying is that mutts aren't aggressive or sheperd mixes aren't aggressive, large dogs aren't aggressive, or just dogs in general are not.
